What the Report covers
Each quarterly AI in Education India Report covers six structured chapters:
- Market trends — product launches, adoption patterns, and category shifts across Indian K12.
- AI adoption in schools — segmented by board, tier and region.
- Teacher readiness — capability, confidence and structured training trends.
- Student readiness — AI literacy, study tool usage, and learning behaviour.
- Future learning trends — what is emerging and where the bar is moving.
- Industry forecasts — grounded predictions for the next 12–24 months.
Why this Report
India is one of the most consequential AI-in-K12 markets in the world. It is also one of the most poorly tracked. Most public discussion is loud, generic, or imported from Western contexts.
The AI in Education India Report exists to provide a serious, India-specific, grounded source on the category — for schools, founders, investors, journalists and policy observers.
Methodology
Each Report integrates four input streams:
- Primary data from UPSTYE’s school partners and Research Council.
- Structured interviews with teachers, principals, parents and product leaders.
- Public data from NEP 2020 implementation, board pattern analysis, and industry announcements.
- Cross-checks with regional partners across India to capture state-level variance.
Who the Report is for
The Report is built for four audiences — K12 founders and product teams, Indian school leaders, investors and analysts in the education category, and Indian and international media covering AI in education.
How to access
