Refund Policy

UPSTYE’s products are currently in the research and product development phase. No commercial product sale is being conducted through upstye.com at this time. This page explains where the refund policy stands today, and what will change when products launch commercially.

01Current commercial status

UPSTYE is not selling physical products through this Website at present. As a result, no commercial sale transactions have been entered into with end customers via the Website, and consequently no refund situations currently apply.

02Waitlist signups

Joining the UPSTYE waitlist, signing up for product notifications, requesting school partnership, or submitting any inquiry through the Website is free of charge. No payment is taken at any point during these flows. There is therefore nothing to refund for these interactions.

03When products launch

When UPSTYE’s products reach commercial availability — whether direct-to-consumer, through school partnerships or through distribution channels — a complete refund policy will be published. That policy will, at a minimum, address:

  • Eligibility criteria and time windows for refund requests.
  • Acceptable conditions of returned products (where physical goods are involved).
  • Refund processing timelines and payment-channel-specific procedures.
  • Differences between digital subscriptions, hardware purchases and bundled offerings.
  • Compliance with applicable Indian consumer protection law.

04Pilot and early-access engagements

Where UPSTYE enters into structured pilot or early-access engagements with schools, institutions, distributors or other partners during the pre-launch period, the specific commercial terms of that engagement (including refund and exit terms) will be agreed in a separate written agreement between UPSTYE and the partner. Those bilateral agreements take precedence over this Website page.

05Imported or third-party products

If UPSTYE ever distributes imported products manufactured by third parties, refund eligibility for such products will depend on the original manufacturer’s policy as well as UPSTYE’s own commercial terms in force at the time of sale.

06Updates to this policy

This Refund Policy will be updated when UPSTYE’s commercial state changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
