Warranty Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

UPSTYE’s products are currently in research and product development. Commercial warranty terms will be defined at the time of each product’s launch and made available with the relevant product. This page describes the current position.

01Current status

No UPSTYE product is currently available for commercial purchase through this Website. As of today, there are no UPSTYE-branded commercial product sales that would trigger a warranty obligation.

02Concepts, prototypes and demonstrations

Concept devices, design prototypes, demonstration units and engineering samples — including any shown to schools, partners, investors, media or visitors — are not commercial products and do not carry a commercial warranty. They are not sold to end users in their prototype form.

03Future commercial products

When an UPSTYE product reaches commercial availability, the warranty terms applicable to that product will be published alongside the product. Those terms will, at a minimum, specify:

  • The exact products covered.
  • Duration of warranty (which may differ by product category).
  • What is and is not covered (manufacturing defects vs. wear-and-tear, accidental damage, mishandling, software issues, etc.).
  • Procedure for raising a warranty claim and required documentation.
  • Geographic scope of the warranty.
  • Remedies available (repair, replacement, refund or service credit).

04Imported products

Where UPSTYE distributes products manufactured by third parties (“imported products”), the warranty applicable to such products may be provided wholly or partly by the original manufacturer. The specific terms — including who is responsible for service and replacement — will be communicated with the product at the time of sale.

05School partnerships and pilots

Where UPSTYE engages with schools or institutional partners in structured pilots or early-access programmes, any warranty-like commitments (such as repair, replacement or service-level obligations) will be set out in the written agreement governing that pilot. Those agreements take precedence over this Website page.

06Statutory rights

Nothing in this page limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights available to a purchaser under applicable Indian law in respect of an actual commercial sale once such sales begin.

07Updates

This page will be updated as UPSTYE’s commercial position evolves. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision.
